Questions
What is an event?A page view, or something you chose to count: a download, a sign-up. Each counts once. What tidekeeper leaves out as a bot, as spam or as a retry is not counted against you, and neither is history you import.
What happens when I go over?Nothing is dropped. Counting continues for 7 days and you are told by email. After that, hits are left out until the month ends or you change plan, and each one is counted as left out, where you can see it.
Can I leave?Yes, with everything. Each site exports as a .zip of CSV and JSON that needs none of our software to read.
Do I need a consent banner?In easy mode there is nothing on the device to ask about. Whether that is enough where you are is a legal judgment: our reasoning, with sources.
