Accessibility
We want tidekeeper to be usable by everyone who reads figures for a living, with a keyboard, a screen reader or a narrow screen. We work towards WCAG 2.1 at level AA.
Where it stands
tidekeeper partly meets WCAG 2.1 AA. What we know does not yet:
- A chart's values are shown on hover. Under each chart, "Show as a table" has the same numbers, and a chart with the focus can be stepped through day by day with the arrow keys.
- The consent banner on a customer's site takes that site's type and colours. tidekeeper refuses a banner whose text has less than 4.5:1 contrast with its background, but the rest of the site is the site's own.
Tell us
If something in tidekeeper is hard for you to use, write to us at the address on /company.
This statement was written on 18 October 2026, from an audit of tidekeeper 0.3.63: every screen checked with axe-core in a browser, at every width from a wide desk to a phone, and the charts and the banner by hand.
